Prof Dr. Rishi Kant Kumar nominated as member of the General Assembly of Simultala Siksha Society

Under an order issued by the Education Department of the Government of Bihar on 27 October 2026, Prof. (Dr.) Rishi Kant Kumar (PhD, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi), who works at the Development Management Institute (DMI), Patna, has been nominated as a member of the General Assembly of the Simultala Shiksha Society. The Simultala Shiksha Society is concerned with advancing the development and educational objectives of the Simultala Residential School in Jamui. According to the departmental order, a total of 22 members from various fields have been nominated to the General Assembly. The nominated members will serve a term of three years.

On receiving news of Prof. (Dr.) Rishi Kant Kumar’s nomination, there is an atmosphere of joy in his family. Family members described it as an important milestone in his long struggle, sustained hard work, and academic journey. His sisters-in-law, Ekta Das, former Community Coordinator, JEEViKA; Meenu Kant, former Counsellor, Women’s Helpline; and Bharti Das, praised his hard work, dedication, and commitment. His wife, Neha Kumari, a teacher at Omar Girls High School, also expressed happiness at this achievement. His elder sister Pooja Kumari, former Hospital Manager, Begusarai; Manish Kumar, Senior Engineer, Indian Railways; his elder sister Soni Prasad, Co-founder, Hi Ventures; and CA Avinash ji congratulated him and wished him success in carrying out his new responsibility and a bright future.

Prof. (Dr.) Rishi Kant Kumar currently works at the Development Management Institute (DMI), Patna. He is engaged in academic activities in the fields of education, innovation, entrepreneurship, and development management. His nomination is being seen as an important opportunity to contribute his experience and expertise to academic and institutional development.
