Bengaluru, India:

Simplismart, the software platform that sits between AI models and GPUs, today announced a $14 million Series B round led by Dallas Venture Capital. NVIDIA, Accel, Shastra VC and Micromax Informatics Ltd also participated in the all-primary round.

Simplismart will use the funding to expand its presence in the United States, grow its team and invest further in its inference software as demand for affordable, production-ready AI accelerates.

Making production AI affordable

As AI adoption grows, companies are spending heavily on GPUs, yet running models reliably and economically at scale remains difficult. Different workloads demand different trade-offs between speed, cost and performance, and meeting business requirements often calls for complex tuning.

Simplismart automates much of that work. Its software adjusts how models are deployed and managed on existing infrastructure, optimizing how quickly a model responds, how many requests it handles and how much compute it consumes, so customers can get more out of the GPUs they already have.

“Nobody actually needs the fastest or the cheapest inference,” said Amritanshu Jain, co-founder and CEO of Simplismart. “Companies need to run AI models at speeds and costs that make sense for their specific applications.”

That approach helped enterprise AI company Ema, where one serving configuration was fast enough but over budget and another was economical but too slow. Simplismart’s team found a configuration that met both requirements. In another example, AI video-generation platform InVideo cut its GPU serving costs by 56% using Simplismart.

One platform, from optimization to operations

For four years, Simplismart has built a platform that brings workload optimization, deployment and ongoing operations together. Companies can run models on Simplismart’s platform or within their own cloud and on-premises environments, with tools for fine-tuning, automatic scaling as demand changes, and performance monitoring.

Simplismart also enables cloud providers to build and operate AI inference services under their own brands. Sovereign AI “token factories” give providers a way to turn GPU fleets into services for open-weight models, while supporting customers’ control over where models and data run. Simplismart already powers the serverless inference layer of Yotta’s Shakti Studio.

Growth and momentum

Simplismart’s annualized revenue run rate has grown 14-fold over the past six months to an eight-figure sum. The figure reflects recent customer usage rather than contracted recurring revenue and excludes revenue passed through to infrastructure providers. More than half of the company’s revenue comes from the U.S.

Customers include InVideo, HeyGen, Higgsfield, Ema and Yotta.

Beyond its investment, NVIDIA is working with Simplismart on technical integrations, including around its Dynamo inference software, bringing together Simplismart’s engineers and NVIDIA’s solutions architects.

“Where we tend to win is where people have to be more stringent on their SLAs and TCO,” Jain added. Rather than offering preset options for faster or cheaper inference, Simplismart aims to find the balance each customer’s application requires.

About the round

About Simplismart

Founded in 2022 by Amritanshu Jain (formerly of Oracle) and Devansh Ghatak (formerly of Google), Simplismart builds software that helps companies deploy and run AI models with the economics, speed and reliability that production demands. The Bengaluru-based company has 58 employees and serves enterprises and cloud providers worldwide.

Thank you to NVIDIA, Dallas Venture Capital, Accel, Shastra VC, Micromax Informatics Ltd, our customers and our team for helping us take this next step.
