By accessing or using Karostartup ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Karostartup is an editorial publication covering Indian startups, funding, and the business of business. We publish original journalism, news briefs, opinion columns, newsletters, and (where indicated) sponsored content clearly labelled as such.
3. Accounts
You may create a free account to comment, bookmark stories, and read full articles. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password confidential, and notify us promptly of any unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You must be 13 years or older to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian.
4. Acceptable use
When using Karostartup you agree not to: post unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or hateful content; impersonate any person or entity; scrape or systematically extract our content without written permission; reverse-engineer or interfere with the service; or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform.
5. Comments and user content
You retain ownership of comments and other content you submit to Karostartup. By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, distribute, and reproduce it within the Service.
We moderate comments and may remove anything that violates these Terms. We are not responsible for views expressed by readers in comments.
6. Editorial content
All editorial articles, photographs, charts, and other content published by Karostartup are protected by copyright. You may share links to our articles freely. Republishing more than a short quotation requires our written permission. Educational and fair-use exceptions apply where law allows.
7. Karostartup Plus (when available)
If we launch paid membership tiers, additional payment, billing, and refund terms will be presented at checkout and incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Sources and tip-line
If you send us a tip or off-the-record information, we will use reasonable care to protect your identity in accordance with established journalistic ethics. We cannot guarantee anonymity if compelled by a court, but we will resist such efforts where lawful.
9. Disclaimer
Karostartup's editorial content is not investment, legal, tax, or professional advice. Always do your own diligence before acting on anything you read. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of our content.
10. Limitation of liability

13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith discussion will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
