Spill Games Raises $10.5 Million Series A Led by Elevation Capital to Scale Mobile Games

Bengaluru-based mobile gaming studio Spill Games has raised $10.5 million in a Series A funding round. This funding round was led by Elevation Capital. Existing investors Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital also participated.
This fresh capital will help the company scale successful game titles, expand its game pipeline, and strengthen AI and technology capabilities. This will also help fund user acquisition and selectively hire talent.
This follows a $3.1 million seed round in April 2026 (co-led by Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital) and an earlier $750,000 pre-seed from All In Capital, M-League, and angels in late 2024.

Who Is Spill Games and What Do They Build?
Spill Games was founded in 2024 by Om Misra, Tapan Ranjan, and Harsh Garg. They are all former executives from PlaySimple Games.
The studio develops free-to-play casual, puzzle, and hybrid-casual mobile games for global audiences. It monetizes through advertising and in-app purchases.
Its portfolio has grown quickly, from three games showing scalable and profitable metrics to 6 in under three months.
Earlier game titles included Cozy Finds, Zen Math Crossword, Sticker by Number, Bird Rescue Jam, and Grill Master.
Spill targets international markets (with a strong U.S. user base historically) rather than focusing only on India.
How Spill Games Builds Games Faster with AI
Spill Games uses a portfolio-driven, systems-first approach instead of chasing a single hit. The team develops multiple concepts, launches prototypes quickly, and decides which ones to scale based on real player data: retention, engagement, monetization, and user acquisition costs.
At the core is Compass, its proprietary technology platform. Compass combines analytics, retention tools, monetization systems, and live operations. The company says this AI-supported process makes game development roughly 4x faster than traditional studio workflows by reusing infrastructure and shortening the path from concept to market test.
Om Misra, Co-founder and CEO of Spill Games, said:
“In mobile gaming, most studios are chasing one breakout hit, which is inherently uncertain. We took a different view from day one: build the underlying system first, and use it to repeatedly create and scale games with speed and discipline. Our results so far suggest that hit-making, done properly, is less about magic and more about method. This fundraise lets us scale that method, expanding our portfolio faster, backing promising titles with conviction, and continuing to deepen our technology advantage.”
Manish Advani, Principal at Elevation Capital, added: “We believe the next decade will see the rise of AI-native gaming studios that pair AI with strong product instinct, data and rapid experimentation.”
The model targets a varied portfolio of 5-10 successful games instead of relying on a single breakout hit.
What the Funding Will Be Used For
Spill Games plans to put the $10.5 million primarily toward:
Scaling games that already show strong performance
Expanding the development pipeline and testing more prototypes
Strengthening AI and proprietary technology
Investing in user acquisition and marketing
Selective hiring to support growth
The global mobile gaming market is projected at about $176.7 billion in 2026 and expected to reach $256.2 billion by 2030, according to Grand View Research figures cited in coverage. Casual and hybrid-casual games remain capital-efficient segments with broad appeal.
